We are actively hiring for a Facilities Technician and Substitute Teachers, starting immediately. All other positions would be for the 2025/26 school year.
SUBSTITUTE TEACHER
OPEN POSTION
8th Street Academy is seeking dedicated and flexible Substitute Teachers ranging from Preschool through 8th grade. This on-call position provides an opportunity to support students in a faith-based learning environment by ensuring continuity of instruction and maintaining a positive, well-managed classroom in the absence of the regular teacher.
FACILITIES TECHNICIAN
OPEN POSTION
The Facilities Technician is responsible for the maintenance, upkeep, and security of the school’s building and grounds. This position ensures a safe, clean, and functional environment for students, staff, and visitors. Responsibilities include general maintenance, groundskeeping, minor security duties, custodial cleaning as needed, ordering supplies, and on-call responsibilities for security systems, fire sprinkler systems, and contracted maintenance scheduling for HVAC and plumbing. The role also includes setting up and taking down equipment for school programs and assemblies.
