Educational Assistant

The Educational Assistant plays a vital role in supporting both the classroom learning environment and broader school operations. This individual serves as a collaborative partner to teachers, assisting with academic instruction, behavior management, classroom preparation, student supervision, and safety. EA’s also contribute to a positive school culture by building relationships with students, modeling Christian character, and maintaining a flexible, helpful presence throughout the day.

8th Street Academy is seeking dedicated and flexible Substitute Teachers ranging from Preschool through 8th grade. This on-call position provides an opportunity to support students in a faith-based learning environment by ensuring continuity of instruction and maintaining a positive, well-managed classroom in the absence of the regular teacher.
